So are you going to unbox and set him up day one? Did you figure out the display you showed me at the beginning of the year?

Yeah, day one for sure. This is the best I could do for a spot. I took my old fish tank stand and set it in front of the knee wall window in my throne room. Still have to trim it out as I just tjrew some piece up there to see what it would look like. Gonna finish it this week the trim pieces and varnish. But that’s were it will go.

Yeah, they screwed up and tried to take from a card that didn’t have the right amount of funds in it, so I had to wait till Friday to take care of it.

I’ll probably get it Next Friday on Monday. Will be well worth the wait.

The big boy has landed. Complete, no damage, light up works and a royal pain in the butt to unbox and assemble. I've included pictures of the instructions to show the near 75 pieces between 4 boxes. I schlepped the base and all pieces up a flight of 12 stairs and found the instructions worthless because you need a magnifying glass to see anything. I used the Sideshow sales page to eye the assembly. The opening to assembly's end took 4 hours.

The piece is a beast. He's half the size of my dining room table and almost half as tall as the room. I took some pictures in natural light. It's getting dark here so I'll add some more tomorrow when it's brighter. If this piece and Killer Croc are anything to go by. People that invested in the more expensive items (Jetpower, WW on Horse) will be happy as well those interested in the upcoming Batman comic stuff. (Harley, Bane, etc.)

I would like to point out this pieces blows Matrix Studios unlicensed sh** show (sorry having owned it and watched it disintegrate within 4 years I'm biased) out of the water. Everything has a purpose, you get a naked skeleton that you piece together. The suspended pieces and cannon are very secure. I get to un-assemble it again this weekend and move it to its permanent home. Any questions by all means ask.

Kick ass man.

Yeah, I’m only piecing this together once.

Yeah, on my Jazz I just used the picture on the box and common sense. The booklet was very vague and pics were small like you said.

Mine arrives tomorrow!

Thanks for sharing eternalblue02, Shockwave looks amazing. Are all those pieces magnetically attached to the statue?
