Thanks for the replies.

I hope I get to heaven and see her and all our other pet/companions.

So raw, like our hearts were ripped out. We just lost Zack in November.

To My Master

I explained to St. Peter,
I'd rather stay here,
Outside the Pearly Gate.
I won't be a nuisance,
I won't even bark,
I'll be very patient and wait.
I'll be here chewing on a celestial bone,
No matter how long you may be.
I'd miss you so much, if I went in alone,
It wouldn't be Heaven for me...

That is a great prayer! Thanks for posting it John!

Sorry to hear of your losses EPA!

I won't get another dog because I can't take losing them! It's too much for me!

Sorry for your loss Endo. I know it's tough losing a pet. I've had birds, fish, turtles but I'm sure the pain of losing a dog is pretty tough. That's why I'm wondering whether if it's a good idea to get my toddler nephew a dog.

Sorry for the loss of your dog. As someone who lost a a few great dogs over my life I know how you feel.

TX nice prayer.

Omar get the little boy a dog but make sure he understands the responsibility of walking and feeding him.
