A-List heroes
1. Batman
2. Superman
3. Spiderman
4. Wonder Woman
5. Hulk
would anyone agree that as far as the general public goes, these 5, and in that order are the most well known of all comic book characters?

I'd put superman first. With the movies & video games I may put Spiderman to #2. My nephews and their friends are spider man crazy. They kids seem to have no interest in Batman

I think the batman/superman/spiderman trio can change positions on any given year. Spidey is hot due to the movies. Back in the 90's I sure Bats had the title easily.

Agreed. These 3 can change position with a good story line.

Hell, I am not questioning Hulks A-list status but has it ever been discussed if he is actually a hero?

i don't think he actually is, and that is why i don't ever think he will become that popular, people like to identify will characters, and they sure as hell can't with the hulk, was it any different when he became more intelligent when he was the monster? (not knowing a great deal about his history)
