holy cow, I remember when he announced on channel 9 when I was a kid, sad to hear he passed away, all the old timmers are going one by one lately,
only Yoggie's left of the yankees that in the spotlight

Sad news. I'll always remember him for doing the faux play-by-play during Meat Loaf's song "Paradise by the Dashboard Light" from the great "Bat Out of Hell" album, my favorite album of all time.

That is my Wifes all time favorite album and Song as well... I did not know that it was him who did the play by play..

He was also the head on the keychain in that Sienfeld episode when George lost it and it was covered with asphalt and every time a car drove over it it said "Holy Cow!"
