The old color was perfect imo, not feeling the new one. The phantom arm still weirds me out, theres still a gap between his arm and the construct that makes it look like its cut off. the rest of this piece is magnificent though, too bad that construct is so distracting

Looks way, way worse now in my opinion.
Interesting how Sideshow rarely makes changes based on feedback but when they do, the changes have a tendency to look worse than before. Or at least not a tangible improvement for it to matter

IMO, the new color makes the construct look like play-doh. Terrible.

Imo it’s ridiculous that they’ve done this. The piece looks vastly different now.
Preorders have already been taken, and it’s not like they’re improving likeness etc on a movie based piece.

I would *hope* they would refund deposits in a situation like this.....I mean like you said it’s a big change. That would be pretty crappy of them if they didn’t.

The weapon without the phallus "tip" looks better. Still wish they'd have gone with a clear green resin like the first Hal Jordan energy fist. It would've been the only way to avoid the action figure green look which was inevitable with an opaque green.

That green is absolutely disappointing. If it ends up that way on the final production version I'm cancelling and they better give me my deposit back. WTF

Ummm....that's not a good look. They should revert back to the original pronto. It's not like changing the color addressed the issue of his arm looking severed. It now just looks like it's severed by a cheap plastic penis gun instead of a color looking translucent penis gun.
Bonus though that the front of the gun is removable. REALLY helps GL look better and more family friendly
