Use off camera flash with two flashes: (1) Canon 540 EZ and (2) Vivitar 285 HV. Fired off with some Pocket Wizards. Also, used some colored gels on the flashes. Learned my techniques from www.strobist.blogspot.com.

thanks for sharing that info. i've been reading that site. lighting is definitely the next step up.
i finally have my speedlites (580EX ii) off camera now and controlling them with a wireless transmitter (ST-E2). i also bought a light diffuser (Lumiquest ProMax) to play around with. so much to read and learn!

yes, a lot to learn. I also had the opportunity to attend one of David Hobby's seminars. But, i found out the best way to learn was to experiment. Once you get the hang of it, almost always you use the same flash settings and just adapt it to each situation.
