Regular White Sculpey as a "clean" clay?

Hello,
I still have an older box of regular white sculpey I bought a long time ago. Would it be possible to use it as a "clean clay" to build around my figurine when trying to make a mold? Thank you for any info.

I have been told that sculpey does indeed contain sulfur. I do know that from experience... my silicone will not cure properly around unbaked polymer clay. What happens is that if something is unbaked and used for a mold, the skin of the mold that is contact with the clay will become kind of a paste like substance. Baked clay does not have this effect on the silicone, nor is cured silicone affected by unbaked clay. Uncured silicone and unbaked polymer clay, however, seems to be incompatible.
