Jefferson locked in. Thank goodness. And the deal seems plenty fair AND good for the Vikings in terms of cap space and future free agents.

Now to just get a whole damn team together and win the damn thing!!

Plus side, I can buy another jersey with my favorite active player now.

I just worry he'll be wasted there. He's still young, though...see how things go with the QB situation. Glad you got your guy

Players can be wasted everywhere and anybody who could have afforded JJ would have probably been in a worse spot than the Vikes. (Lookin at you NFC South). And in Minnesota there is a really good catching crew - Addison, Hockenson, and Jefferson. The ‘Sons of the North (which I should trademark now).

Also, I’d think that Minn always poses a threat and it is usually when least expected. And while I am biased, I am also realistic that now the NFC North is going to be fiesty.

Just looking forward to the first year without Cousins where I do not care if my team sucks bc it’s a growing year. And suckin mean a higher draft spot!

Awwwww snap. It’s almost kick-off!!

Vikings end up last in the NFC North. I’m thinking 7-10 would be a success given the setbacks. The sad situation at the CB position will be felt. I’m beyond fine with McCarthy not playing. Wish it wasn’t because of recovery from surgery, but I’m happy he is going to see what the NFL speed it about.

It will be a real test for the Lions this year because now people think they are going to be great. Thats harder than being the underdog and comeback kids.

I will place a bet on the Vikings when I get outta Delaware.

Meanwhile I will be crossing my fingers the Tigers continue to make a run to the postseason
