Swarm

Hello folks,

Haven't been able to put up my new work as of late. This is something I'm working on right now that I thought would be challenging.

It's the villain Swarm, and he is made up of lots and lots of bees. Most of the areas that you see are heavily hammered by alphas. However, I've manually placed bee meshes all over the piece by hand as well to add more realism and detail to the effect.

Thanks guys! Just need to fix the flow of the cape on the side, and add a few more bees to the deltoids and we should be good to go.

Glyphs: I know what you mean about the character..lol. I did not even know that he existed. The bee effect however is super cool. I am still trrying to think of a way to make the bee details more precise in the sculpt.

averone: That would depend upon the scale. I'd say there will be some loss at Bowen scale, which is partly the reason why I haven't spent all my time physically placing bee meshes all over him. The idea is to use bee-like noise to give the illusion of a million bees, and then add slightly bigger bee meshes here and there to add to that illusion. Of course, it's my job to make the bees as printable as possible in this case. It would require some back and forth with the printer in any case.
