Beast Premium Format Figure

Looking at beast more, and wanting to be constructive rather than just bashing.

Part of me is thinking maybe this is will be 1 of 2 Beast. Like how we get Two Ivy's last year, one great and then one amazing Ivy. So is that what's happening here ?

Agree with these

Negative
-seams,
-awkward pose
-Why is he balancing on a turn table ?
-Why does beast look like he's on Ozempic with side affects?
- X-23 Wolverine and Beast look like they are both in a new line and more cartoonish looking.

Ways to improve
- He's obviously Jim Lee style, make him look as thick as he is drawn.
- Have him look like he's leaping off the desk like the school just got attacked.
- Have him look like he's reading while either hitting or catching a weapon that was thrown at him.

We waited along time for a SS Beast, not sure why they went with the studios Beast again like the Comiquette, probably would have been better off with a semi action leaping, or kicking in some part of the sentinel.

Anyway SS is my go to so I hope you can improve this one or make sure not to keep us waiting long for one that's less "unique".

They should have just copied the Bowen X-Men version. Would have been an instant classic.

I think they were stuck on "lets be original", but they went a little much of to what folks wanted/expected

This reminds me of the Thor throwing the sword PF argument. Even if the position is technically ok, its not the optimal angle to capture it from and makes it look weird. I mean it is creative, but just looks so dang weird, and that wont improve once on the shelf. They will have a really hard time selling it as is. Based on the pose, I am not really sure what they need to have this "Beast" do instead to save it vs scrapping and coming back with a reworked concept.

Even after receiving the mixed feedback from fans, they wouldn't be making any changes after all. The only thing one can do, if you are so motivated, is to get him remodeled waist up (or down?) by a sculptor. Maybe SS will keep a very low ES. And maybe, for all we know, this will become one of the most sought-after PFs due to its sheer weirdness.

Seeing as they put this out today, i'm guessing he will go up for PO in the next week or few weeks. So don't think they will tweaking anything other than the seams/details on the fur.

Only hope is they had two Beast, this was there artistic choice, and another in a year or few months, one will be more what was expected.

I didn't realize that this piece was based on the animated series. That explains the more cartoony look.
