I would rather a weapon EX as opposed to a helmet EX...just my preference

I was really hoping for dual pistols, but I'm not sure of it because you can see at least one on his holster.

They have done it on another statue where you could remove the gun from the holster so you could display the gun in the hand.
Hopefully they'll do that with this as dual pistols really is Rexs main weapons.

Change of Head 
My ideal situation would be the regular head, no helmet head, and the newest phase armor head.
