Another reason you can tell it's not the sun is that the red would be more pink to white. I've seen the sun do that to artwork and other items in hot areas before. The red on the print still looks fine.

That's a good point. None of the color appears to have been affected by the discoloration. I'll take a couple of pics tomorrow to show the bottom of the print (where it's all color).

What year was this sent back from? It's possible that during the time travel it was exposed to some form of radiation.
