The lack of police never bothered me in these movies/or series, I tend to look at it like the lack of other heroes. Spidey, Strange, Falcon..etc do they all go on vacation together and leave one hero to guard the city?

And yes I agree about the car scene..boy that was on fast moving car..lol

I thought the Owl in the Christmas tree was a funny Easter egg to NY.
Most people will not get the reference. But the owl had a book last year and now a TV cameo..thought it was funny.

The series was ok, I found it mostly entertaining. I did think it a strange choice to have a gang call themselves tracksuit mafia, I mean there's nothing really scarry about tracksuits. Plus, they were all idiots, so for me they made for a really weak villain. King Pin made up for it a bit but come on, tracksuit mafia?!?!?

I was going to skip this show because I thought it was about a teenage girl, and therefore not aimed at me. I binged it after hearing the Kingpin shows up. I thought maybe I'd see some rated R action. The show was incredibly silly at times. At least the deaf villain listens to Depeche Mode.

P.S. Lol at the Kingpin. Always getting beat up by blind and deaf people.
