I like the story too.
The films have different storylines that harmonize wonderfully with each other. I think the first three movies are consistently great.

Bubba Ho-Tep is one of my faves! I was able to get Bruce Campbell to sign my DVD copy as Elvis a long time ago. LOL

The Last Duel (2021) - King Charles VI declares that Knight Jean de Carrouges settle his dispute with his squire by challenging him to a duel.
Firstly, per my pet peeve, automatically -1 for a story set in France where all the characters are speaking English. I fully understand why movies are made in this way, it still annoys me. With that out of the way, it's a good looking film--particularly the actual duel at the end. There was some unexpected humor as well to keep the story from being a complete downer. I do wish however it wasn't so obvious that the men's versions of events were questionable while the woman's was the absolute truth. But I guess if you don't make that completely clear to the audience then some less perceptive viewers would feel sympathy for the male leads when they didn't deserve any really. 7/10

Watched it at the Alamo Theater and they did a question and answer video with the director and Bruce after the movie which was fun. A question about a sequel came up and Bruce sidestepped it so unfortunately still no sequel in the foreseeable future.

Watched Dune last night. I really liked it but this might be difficult to follow if you don’t know the story already - not sure how clear it would be to someone who has no idea what Dune is all about. That said I want Part 2 as soon as possible! 8/10
