Is she flying or just posing on the base?

This is the BEST statue news in SDCC2014 for me. First you hit me with the Brown Wolverine and now this.
I PO'd the other one and was super bummed when it got cancelled and I am so glad that we are getting her.
Thanks Erick, Gomur & Koto for making it happen

Thanks Jansen. I create the graphics, but nothing happens without you and the others' support. We got this done together!
Yeah, this was my biggest surprise of SDCC2014. I though Erick was hinting heavily at Apocalypse showing, but he pulled one over on us!

Storm is at the top of my list, however, many of us want Iceman. The sculptor wants him. I say we campaign for Iceman next.

Will Kotobukiya be putting on the classic portrait on for display?

Those pics shared by Rbx46 look awesome. Erick has really improved on his classic portrait from 4 years ago. Rogue's hair is most impressive.

LOL. We have to use the Power of The Petition judiciously! I did create a comparison of Rogue's boots with and without heels.

Although not part of the Jim Lee's design, I do like the heels. They showcase the contour of Rogue legs and butt even more (being a little perv in here ).
I also like the idea of giving a nod to the old and the new. After all, not all collectors of Sosa grew up in the 90's. I feel sorry for them though......well, I don't. Their fault for not being born at the right time. They can cry me a river, hehehe.

This. Without the pervy part.
Her heels aren't that pointy or thin, so it's really okay for me.
I envy your photoshopping skills Gomur. Can you make a fully painted Rogue(including the base) in photoshop? Just so we'll see its full awesomeness!

Heels look fine imo. What I don't like is the way she sits on the base. Looks like she's just posing instead of flying. The original first sculpt captured the flying aspect perfectly imo, you can clearly see that she was flying through the sentinel head.
Still looks great, I just hope Erick could somehow make her look airborne.

I do get your point, but I much prefer the statue this way. I need it to have good support so her shins touching the base is actually a plus for me. Besides, she looks like she is floating since her feet aren't on the sentinel hand. Well, I am a little paranoid about my statues sometimes, but I do think long-term.
