Look out for #1. Don't step in #2 either.

I haven't read through the entire thread to see if it's been brought up, it probably has, but one of the aspects of this piece that doesn't really work for me is the lack of any claw marks across Hulk. Wolverine is clearly on the downward part of his swing and based on his body position it would be a stretch to say he didn't make contact. While I wouldn't expect serious damage given Hulk's resiliency I think there'd at least be some marks on him.

My guess is Disney would have axed any use of blood or body damage.

In their world every fight is a no contact encounter.

Your point is well taken though.

Yeah, I thought that might be the case as well. If it's an issue of showing blood or actual body damage then just bury his claws in him so you know he connected, similar to the now classic Sideshow Wolverine Vs Sabretooth diorama.

Sure he self heals but similar to Wolverine he'd show some damage after the initial strike before that happened.

Surely some cuts should show the ferocity of the battle and of Wolverine's nature at that moment in time, even though he heals it won't be instantaneous, right? Right?

look closely at the Hulk's eyes

the Hulk is not looking at the Wolverine's head.

the Hulk is looking at something above the Wolverine.

If you enlarge the picture with the apple, this is more apparent

its like the Hulk is rolling his eyes upwards
