I just don't believe they sold all 333 pieces. All in one day? Congrats to them, but either way I find their statues too pricey for what you get. I'd wager that a used Toybiz Treebeard in a dim room will look indistinguishable from this one.

333 isn’t really that many when you consider how long the fan base has been waiting for a Treebeard statue. Add the 2 Hobbits, the fact it’s part of their Master’s Collection, the $300 off coupon, $315 in Weta Dollars and payment plans. Lots of reasons to pull the trigger for fans. Your toy comparison is laughable. Weta produces some of the finest statues on the market today. When they hit the mark, they’re hard to beat.

Plus some of the 333 pieces went to retailers to sale. Weta probably had less than 250 to sell on their Website.

Yeah, those are the only 2 so far. What’s next is anyone’s guess. Hopefully another large 1:6 scale piece like this.

I just looked up the toy biz Treebeard and your right they’d be indistinguishable........ if by dim room you mean the lights were out........... and you were stood 200ft away............and you were blind......yep indistinguishable
