pose seems to mirror that of the supergirl maquette. I much rather get that one, but it seems not many people got her

Definitely true. I saw him at my LCS today and it is tilted to the left...

I think a lot of the Supergirl maquettes were damaged. Even the damaged ones can go for over $100 on eBay.

I ordered one of the AS Superman maquettes via my LCS and it showed up damaged. My LCS checks all the statues, so I didn't have to buy a damaged one, but I'm waiting (and hoping) an intact version shows up.

As for the tilting, the CGoDCU Supergirl had a tilting issue as well, but that was due to putting the statue together wrong. Maybe the same is true for the AS Superman maquette?

I received my AS Supes last week but there was a paint flaw and the peg wouldn't fit in the base. Hopefully a replacement will arrive soon.

My LCS did have another statue but it too had a very minor paint flaw so I chose to wait for another. The LCS piece did not have any problem with leaning.

I think it makes a nice companion piece for the Supergirl maquette and it has good detail considering it is an animated maquette.
