I’ve had two pieces repainted and been satisfied with both. Mike Najera for the first and John Alred for the other.

Cool man! I’ve been thinking about getting one of my OG Batgirl PF’s repainted in the classic colors (Detective Comics #359 debut).

I think your exactly right, although I do see were people would be upset with the eyebrow not being raised to match her hand on her head, but I love it, if i get something that looks like that, it will be a top 5 statue in my collection easily

did they updated the pictures on sideshow? looks kinda different to me.

her face looks a bit different, beside the eyebrow, the eyes also look different, or maybe its the angle? what else changed. i prefer the old one to be honest






why did they changed it? did people not like the original preview?

It's the production piece that god willing will be shipping out soon.

Dejah has a more younger appearance now. They down played her make up and made a few other minor changes to her face.

I'm still very happy with Sideshow's Dejah Thoris statue, even though it does look like she has a little less fire in her eyes.

yeah i think the eyes on the first one looks nicer. it still looks a great piece, i just pre-ordered it yesterday.

Edit: i also noticed they changed the name twice, i remember last year (or two years ago) it was Dejah Thoris, than the page was taken down and she was up again as Martian Princess. that page was take down and Dejah thoris was up again.

The top photo looks sharper, shines and pop's more.
The bottom photo has better eye-browse.

Her mood appears different in the two photo's.
Top photo she appears to having thoughts of revenge, a plan of sort..
Bottom photo she looks slightly fed-up, bothered, something failed to work out, in need of a glass of booze.

The backdrops, after effects have distorted both images.

It's unfortunately that SS made the proto THAT good... I feel like 99% of people looking at this would call it a total home run if they didn't have the proto to look at. As someone else pointed out, this could have gone SO wrong
