same as we were told for ares and poseidon,i wish when they show a WIP they get released within a year.

Maybe I've missed something, but I find it hard to believe that there is a huge market for a 1/4th scale Alexander the Great, complete with horse!

I thought the same thing about Blackbeard and Vlad by SS. They both looked phenomenal and sold out. There is a market for historical figures...just how popular is the question.

Quality sells, if they don't have relapses and slightly improve with every release this year (the promised new styro will certainly help with this) and keep the edition sizes acceptable. There is nothing wrong with ES from 200 upto 500 with good quality imo.
This Alexander already looks very very good. Pose of both horse and especially 'rider' are perfect, only the horse his muscles need a bit tweaking. Twohunderd collectors willing to add a special statue to their shelves shouldn't be to difficult I think..

If they sold out of Cleopatra, then they can definitely sell out of Alexander, which in my opinion is much more interesting, and just a better overall statue.
