Just ordered this beast of a classic comic Canale sculpt. Too good a sculpt & vibe to pass, though was weighing in between Darkseid & Venom. So bird in hand gets the pot, & can't wait to feast on this baby. Now the wait for the rest of the "big boys" club; Hulk, Apoc, Thing,..........

Ironically Iron, I wasn't into DC either, though I was always on the look-out for a great Batman, ....still waiting. But, all that changed when i picked up Flash. Including Darkseid, i'm now 5 DC characters deep, (& still no Bats or Supes!). As long as the sculpts are sound, and they have been, i'm pretty much in.

P.S. Iron, if you strictly like the "big boys", consider SS Bane. Yes DC, but a beast of a character/sculpt nonetheless.

darkseid arrived last night, very impressive and cool piece. he is a big boy, pictures do not do him justice. i love the sculpt and pose on this, the paint is clean but a little flat

if you are planning on displaying the reg portrait brace yourself for possible disappointment... the gums AND teeth are basically the same color as his skin. it was always ex or nothing for me, im not sure if i would have even ordered this had it not been for the ex portrait so the reg stayed in the box

as one who normally doesnt care for glow effects i thought it actually came out pretty good here, definitely looks like hes powering up

What color do you think they should have painted the teeth? I'm having a hard time thinking of a color that would've work?

White teeth with very dark red gums. Like XM did on their 1/6 piece.

Thanks all for the inland pictures. After seeing some of the pictures and reviews, I'm kind of on the fence now. Don't like the forward lean and some of the paint app on the right glove and bottom of the turnic
