Denver Walker Stalker con

Went to my first Walker Stalker con. It was enjoyable for about 2 hours. If they are the same in other cities they are heavily geared towards those who are into autographs and selfies with the stars. You have to bring an armored car of cash for what most were charging for autographs and selfies. There was a boatload of stars from Walking Dead mostly but also Freddy Krueger, Comic Book Men, and other mostly horror movies/tv. Vendors included tattoos, costume / makeup, prints, collectibles, some artists, and weapons. They had some panels where the stars / directors talked about their shows. Tickets were $55 for one day. Fortunately I got mine for a discounted $27 (although they were supposed to be a birthday gift but the birthday recipient ended up not having any interest in going despite the fact her and her partner are very much into Zombies).

Would I go again? no. But for someone into the meet the stars gig for a picture or autograph, it would have been good. I did meet Ming and Mike from Comic Book Men. Just a shake of the hands and mentioned I watch and enjoy their show.
