Original Superman PF faded blue
Hey guys, has anyone else noticed their original Superman pf’s blue in his outfit fading? I finally put on the cloth cape I got for him and was shocked when I removed the sculpted cape and so where it actually touched was a much more vibrant blue. I’ve included some pics... hope they show up.

I guess that is one of the reasons why some people prefer that all of the statue be sculpted and not use mix media.
Whenever there is fabric, there will be fading and dry rot. Especially if the fabric is a cheaply made.
Hmm something to contemplate here...

Not mine, was yours near sunlight or direct non-LED light?

Another one of the many reasons fabric sucks.

I just keep mine where no sunlight can get to it and the only non-led lighting has covers and the heat can't effect them.

Mine is not in sunlight and just the tube florescent lighting. Now the blue color reaches behind where any light source could reach. The only area I saw the vibrant blue was where is was touching the old sculpted cape. Near the shoulders and neck line of back.

The fluorescent light might have caused it?
