They will get the money from somewhere even if they have to borrow it. Now if you die before you are eligible then no you won't get it. That sounds hopeful! I've been told my whole life how SS won't be around by the time I'm retiring lol. Honestly who knows what could happen in 32+ years though, I didn't even realize the US was a plutocracy until today.

Ancient Rome was the last functioning plutocracy I can think of and while we are more of a republic in sort of the same way they were at times, we also have multiple systems in place to help out the lower class. Something plutocracies aren’t meant for.

You could easily argue it's meant to appease the lower classes. It doesn't hurt the wealthy in the slightest or their ability to lobby for ways to enrich themselves.

The wealthy have been levying the Government since the beginning of the 20th century, probably before that. Every once in a while you'll see an idealist come around...usually gets him killed.

I love how some people bash Fox news as if they were pathetic and fake news like CNN. Some people just can't deal with seeing the other half of a story. Facts hurt too. Also this thread is gonna get closed very soon.

^I think it's been civil and I enjoy hearing both sides on why people believe the way they do. For example, a lady that works for me despises Trump but agrees what he's doing in China like many of his opponents do, whether they say it or not. Think what you want of him, but he's the only one that's had the balls to stand up to them.

Honestly if anyone doesn't think both Fox and CNN are biased then they're brainwashed imo. You can debate on how far each one leans but it's pretty obvious lol. And about money and corruption in Politics, yes it's there and they protect each other whichever side of the aisle they sit on. It's a shame just like the Epstein case, the news is pretty much done and nothing will likely come of it and all the people that were involved won't get what they deserve, in this life anyways.

One thing is biased and another thing is what CNN, MSNBC and most of the other local networks are doing. Fox definitely leans right but at least they aren't reporting half stories. Leaving out the parts that don't fit their agenda or just completely making up stories. I'm not saying they're perfect but they don't deserve the flack they get from leftists.
