Well I manage to grab Whisper for a really great price. Really nice piece. Everything about this statue screams quality to me.

I'm truly hoping that they don't discontinue this line. Please bring out Jr

If they would have put them up for pre-order right away after their first reveal at SDCC, they would have sold better. But they have such terrible delays in every aspect of their business. Plus, compared to similar 1/4 statues by other companies, these are overpriced. They also turned off the option to pre-order Fireball on their site for over a year.

Yes it comes down to price, they were going for $600 at the time which is nuts for unlicensed originals when licensed marvel dc were going for $400ish. I bought whisper at bbts at <$200 years later, just to show how disconnected their price is to the market.

If they released this at $300-400 and set a low es like 500 to get it sellout each time, this line would be going strong still.

Oh, and then their bS about how they were so elaborate with mixed media, which they weren't. Sorry, but that doesnt warrant for a higher price. I can get metal clips at Walmart for a close to nothing. Using mixed media should have made the production of these easier. And it wasnt like all the pieces had mixed media, Katja didn't. I thought it was ridiculous then and i think it is a joke now. They had to save money with the lame bases too. Just a big wad of BS.

Fireball no longer available on Amazon, but she still shows up on the GG website. I'm hoping she gets released, even if it's a very limited number.

Would love the two new characters to also have their day, but that seems less likely.
