Bane looks pretty good.
I think we all expected for something completely different from the comic.
The execution will be the most important thing here.

Surprised to see an image so soon. He does look like how I pictured him, quite bad ass.

He looks positively terrifying. That mask is much more disturbing than the comics version.
I loved Vengeance of Bane and his masterful engineering behind Batman's breaking during the whole Knightfall era. I know that the comics of the 90s are often looked down upon, but I found the whole pre-Knightfall, Knightfall/KnightsQuest/KnightsEnd saga to be a blast.

I loved the 2 Vengeance of bane books would be awesome to see some of that in this. But I wasn't as big a fan of Knight fall however I can see some of its elements working within a Nolan film. Regardless I'm sure Nolans version is completely different from both and will prolly in many ways be better for live action.
I really hope India and the Lazarus pit is either a modified origin of Bane or Ra's and not the resurrection of Ra's or anyone for that matter.

Is there any comic book movie that has been accurate?
These are interpretations of a pre-established story, why shouldn't they try to change things to appeal to the masses?
