I would say they are going broke because they are a subsidized industry operating on business costs long-since outdated. Look at the prices:
Thanos on Throne statue to (for example) Australia:
UPS - $888.12
FedEx - $827.84
USPS - 197.08
They do these prices so low due to the subsidies from taxpayer money.
PS. I am a supporter of the USPS staying a government industry. I would sure as hell rather my tax dollars help keep postage low than build another ----ing tank.
