I think it has to do with a few things...
1) the amount of product competing for your dollars has never been greater.
2) when you kick off a new line/license you need to show a solid commitment to it in order for people to invest in it, especially at these prices.
3) collectors often need something in hand to maintain their interest in a line, especially when nothing has physically materialized yet.

Not that i have any Prime1 pieces yet, but i have heard delays for them are common. I don't mind, would rather them get it right!

The Prime 1 statues I have seen are the top of the line in my opinion. QC top notch. Paint app others can't touch. Sculpt is personal preference. I wish they were able to tackle more licenses. But agree I would rather them take time and get it right!

This piece looks cool. Surprisingly tall based on the stats. I am considering joining the waitlist but I am not sure because the width and length says it is almost 18 by 18 even though it does not look it. So I am not sure where it would fit.
I just wish they would make a Duke statue since he was always my favorite growing up.

P1 wrote they had to move this piece to another factory, that was why it was delayed. P1
wrote they have no plans, when companies write that a line is mostly canceled, so they won't make Duke.. PCS should make one they need to make some Joes to go with Cobra's
