Advise for touch up paint for Sideshow Iron Man

Hi,

I have a Sideshow Iron Man Maquette 1:2 scale and there are some red paint chips at the bottom of the feet and one area have red paint overspray on gold color that I wish to touch up with brush. I found the following paints been mentioned for the red and gold colors:
Red
Nissan merlot red
Nissam roma red
Deep crimson red

Gold - Classic gold

The red paint need not be exactly the same. Just needed to be as close as possible as the area to touch up is very small. Your advise is appreciated.

Thank you.

Sorry, I can't recommend a specific paint. I mix/match all of my colors as needed - nothing comes straight from a jar. That is my best advice - choose a color that looks close and then "tweak" it with other colors until you are happy with the match (it helps to know your "color theory"). You can apply an appropriate clear on top if needed to match the rest of the model. Let me know if you ever need professional assistance with painting or repair.

Thank you for your advise. I will let you know if I need professional assistance. The problem with this statue is that it is costly and risky to ship. I prefer to send it locally for repair...near Chicago.

I'm not terribly far away, but not next door either. I'm in Cincinnati, Ohio. If you can't find anyone closer you know where to find me.
