It's not just money, it's space. I can afford it but I can't buy it because I have no space.
This is Sideshow's way of limiting competition. I"m sure they have exclusive rights to the 1/4 scale market and so everyone else has to make these HUGE statues.
Does Batman in 1:3 scale offer that much more than 1:4 scale?
I don't think so but it sure has hell increases price, weight, shipping, and display footprint making it VERY hard to your average collector to buy more than 1 or 2 of these things.
You can't collect Priime 1 Transformers, TMNT, Arkham Knight, and all the rest of the licenses they just announced if all of them are going to be 1:2 or 1:3 scale
That's just crazy even if you could afford them all. I could buy them and when my wife divorces me cause she comes home to Frank Miller's Dark Knight looming over the master bedroom bathroom how's that going to work out? LoL.

It'd work out, you would have Batman all to yourself then.

The question should be,
Does Prime 1 studios offer that much more than Sideshow who has the Batman 1/4 license.

I meant I would have loved Prime 1 to have 1:4 scale Batman sculpts. I think they would be delivering just as awesome pieces. But it sucks they can't because they don't have the license and are thus forced to sell to a smaller demographic due to the increased size and price of the larger scales they have to do.

I'll collect as many as I can.
Limiting the competition? That will backfire. I've ordered more pieces from P1, IA, IS, Hot Toys last year, compared to the two i ordered from SS.

For me personally, if I had to choose between Miller and lee, it's Miller all day, every day.
