I've binged on Amazon Prime so much, that I stumbled on to several comic book/fan documentaries that maybe you guys might be interested in.
1. With Great Power: The Stan Lee Story - A really good doc b/c not only is it about his upbringing and him in the business, it shows him & Joanie which was nice.
2. Chris Claremont's X-Men - Not a long doc but it goes through his run on X-Men.
3. Comic Con Episode 4: A Fan's Hope - This one was directed by Morgan Spurlock (Supersize Me). Filmed during the 2010 or 2012 SDCC, it show's it from different perspectives like the cosplayer, the collector, the dealer & the artist looking to make it in the business.
There another doc on Amazon Prime but it costs $5 to rent but I thought it was good:
My Comic Shop Country - directed by a former employee of Alternate Realities Comic Shop in Scarsdale, NY, he goes around the US talking to shop owners about the business and how they stay relevant in a changing society. He even goes into some detail about why Alternate Realities closed. It also features statueforum's own, Drew aka Galactus. It me more appreciative of my LCS's.
