This piece is a cool sculpt but not a fan of the concept. Lantern ring, batarang, face, leggings, double toes. But still cool.

Did anybody see the new "The Death Of Superman" Animated movie?
Strongly recommend it, fantastic movie. I have to admit the film is making me take another look at this Doomsday Marquette.
Was not going to get it but now I just might. Will wait for full reveal and pricing but there is no way around it, Doomsday is an integral character in the Superman mythology.
If I do get it I have to say I will be displaying it with the EX head.
Also after watching this animated flick, having all the JLA Easter eggs on this Marquette is very fitting.
Hope its not astronomically priced.

I'm surprised there hasn't been much discussion in this thread considering Doomsday goes up for order next week. This and Rogue were easily my two favorite pieces at the con, so I'm excited to get my order in.

Give it time. The people that love to speculate what the price will be will eventually chime in.

I dont think many people have connected with this piece myself included. I remember Martin's Bane PF being better received. This should have been a similar reaction but its lukewarm at best.

Unfortunately, one of the most common statements in the forums is that people prefer Prime 1's offering over Sideshow version.
Of course that's not saying those people are going to get Prime 1's piece either; again primarily due to its sheer size, like everything else they produce.

This piece will probably not sell well do to the price and as some said the likeness. Will probably have a smaller Es. They should just make it a set small 300-500 Es for the ex from the start. It would move faster for sure even if people don’t like it will feel like they may miss out. Heck I did that a few times buying something with a low Es that I didn’t even know who it was or felt like missing out.

Oh man ... like LiquidFox said, this piece is getting a lukewarm reception. Hope SSC know what they're doing if they go with that price.
