Have to agree with the Yac. I thought the customization was a welcome addition into the franchise. What I didn't like in the sequels was the linear way assassinations had to be performed. I am glad to hear that AC4 will have more freedom in how you tackle assassinations.

Man, I haven't been this excited for an Assassin's Creed game since AC2 was announced.

yeah the freedom he mentioned in the interview sounded like it could be quite a nice change from the hand holding

I agree that in subsequent games the assassination became quite obscure, I never really knew when I was on a mission to assassinate a main target like in the first game. I don't mind a few armor and ship customisations, but they should really keep the city building to a minimum.

the homestead was one of my favorite parts of 3, i loved finding new people to live in my town and doing their little personal missions was often more enjoyable then the main ones for me, i only wish that once they were in town they worked more like the shops from the old games and generated income on their own instead of the terrible crafting system they forced in

Anyone else picking this up next week? Definitely getting the game, just not sure if I should wait for next-gen.

Have you ever imagined a world with no hypothetical situations?
