This makes me wonder if I just didn't follow a correct reading order or something. This statue is amazing and the source material is what is holding me back. I didn't read the tie-in issues yet, but I read the main mini and was not impressed. I loved Snyder's run on "Batman", but didn't love "Metal", "No Justice", or his "Justice League" run so far. It has all seemed like a series of action sequences surrounded by tons of exposition.

I did like the "Metal" prologue issues. I do need to check out the other tie-ins to see if I can get more into this character, outside his appearance. I may end up getting it anyway, but I would like to actually be into the source material when I drop $1000+ (and this will probably be well into the "+" range).

I still want them to find away to incorporate the name plate into the front. I don't see the sense in having it in the back they probably won't change anything because it will require a redesign but still it would make more sense.
