Why did Dr Doom, who got expelled from college after an experiment exploded, give himself the name "Doctor Doom" while his fellow student Reed Richards, who did finish his university education and got a PhD, give himself the name "Mister Fantastic"?

He's more than 5000 years old.
I remember reading a Thor comic years ago and the Enchantress I think it was said that he and her were more than 5000 years old.
I also read where Thor has had Mjolnir since he was 15 years old.

More than 5000 sounds right. I was reading an issue that takes place 4000 years ago and Thor looks as he does now, except for his classic outfit.
