I think the Steals and Deals shows are the only time they give bigger discounts.

It's too bad BBTS barely seems do statue deals anymore. Maybe change in management philosophy. They used to be amazing 1.5+ years ago, clearing out resins at 60%+.

Most of the deals seem to be the same discounts that have popped up over the last 3-4 "events". Nothing of interest. As a quick aside, SSC does not have a lot of premium formats in stock (at least on the Marvel/DC front).

I've been waiting for MR Freeze forever and on the waitlist.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Is it so hard to actually give a good discount. 50 off of 500, 100 off of 1k spent. All items. I understand the business aspect, but come on!!!

I mean, it's not that hard to understand. Sideshow's retail margins are probably not much and they sell...what maybe, at most, low 6 figures/high 5 figures of items (and I'm counting clothes and the low-priced stuff) per year? Customers are also anal and return things with the slightest of damage. And if they took big markdowns during marketing events like Black Friday, what's the likelihood the customers buying those items will help them make back that cost in the future by buying more full-priced items? This hobby market is only so big. In this kind of mini-industry, you just try to keep your above water and grow revenue maybe 5-10% per year tops if you're lucky.
