The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

MGL Toys Buzz Lightyear Premium Statue

I've never heard of this company and they don't have a price up yet, but this looks pretty cool. If the dimensions are correct then it's much bigger than the Beast Kingdom version.

21.06" W x 17.72" D x 25.59" H

If this turns out as nice as the concept, I might have to pick one up. Looks alot better than Beast Kingdom's.

$830 + shipping probably puts it close to $1K.

I don't need a 65 cm Buzz, but if this company delivers, that's an excellent statue.

Can't imagine spending that much with what all else is available for the same money especially with the uncertainty if it will look that good as Shoo points out.

But if so it would be a super piece.

So I ended up getting this. Dang thing weighs 50 pounds. The styrofoam has velcro straps like XM statues. They even included gloves to wear when you?re unboxing it. The light up base plugs into the wall and comes with a remote to turn it on/off. The two lights on his wings are battery operated. You just take the clear bulbs off and turn on the lights by pushing a button. Now do I need Woody?

Congratulations - but I have to politely ask....why not just buy one of the bazillion Buzz Lightyear Action figures for (max) $50

Sure they're plastic, sure they're posable - but they're cheaper and (ironically) as movie accurate as you can get!!

You do know you?re on a STATUE forum right? I mean you could ask that question to every person here since they make action figures of Star Wars, DC, Marvel, etc.

Plus it?s not as cool.

I'm not judging, you do you. I was just curious. My assumption was that you were buying this because of an attachment to the cartoon character - in which case the cheaper action figures are extraordinarily close to what you see in the Pixar cartoon.

However, if you're buying it because it's a statue - then yeah..congratulations, it's a nice piece.
