I still read the comic books but stopped watching the show a couple of seasons ago. I think the Glen under the garbage bin season was my last one. I did see Negan head bash Glen episode though

I have not read the comic, but that's definitely not necessary to be annoyed at the continuous 'amateur hour' on display from Gimple, Nicotero, et al.

Well...maybe things will look up with Gimple out. ...That said, not sure Kang is the one to get the show back on course.

Geez, what a long drawn out death scene. This downhill slide of this show is getting steeper.

Good God this show is killing me. It's a battle of attrition with myself. Like LOST, do I stick with it because I have already invested so much time.? Or do I just save myself the pain and DVR space?

Remember the prison arc, which they actually improved upon with the sickness and carols brutal killing of the infected? Where have THOSE writers gone.
Those writers clearly jumped ship to Fear TWD. Just finished up the most recent season and found it to be fantastic! Loved it. Reminds me of what TWD show used to be.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Got a short summary from the wife. Not even gonna bother watching. Last half season really did me in.

Rick: "I'm gonna kill you, Negan."

Negan: "Wow. Geez. Sh!t man! (weird standing lean-back I've never seen any other human do, but Negan does constantly) You serious, Rick?"

That's pretty much the next two years of TWD, I'm guessing.

I'll disagree with you here. Although it was a longer stretch than anticipated, Carl's death was beautifully executed and rightfully so. He's been around since the inception so it would've been odd to see him die within 10 minutes or so. He needed the full show to lay out the meaning behind his death and how it will affect the show moving forward.

Negan in the dream? VERY enlightening of what's to come.

I've been thinking of adapting this mannerism for when I talk to people, coupled with the subtle head cocking to one side.
