Yup.
'Sideshow usually makes 2 types of heads to their figures. And with Psylocke, the idea is to make Asian
and European version.' Maria Panfilova
I guess that was part of her brief
If Maria sculpted both from the outset, then why did Sideshow not offer both as part of an EX ?

Thanks, guys. Interesting how she only shows the decided-on portrait on her Artstation profile.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

From what all are saying both were going to be offered then the regular head that was shown at SDCC got so much backlash that they scrapped it and made the EX head the standard head for every Psylocke statue.

I'd say the artist needs to educate themselves on what a Japanese/Asian woman looks like. Cuz this ain't even close.

Sideshow's way of "listening" to customer feedback is to give us the worse of the two heads?

As bad as it sounds, sometimes companies should just ignore customer feedback and proceed as planned.

Yes and no. With Psylocke, yes (they should have ignored the customer).
No, companies should take on_board constructive criticism when issues are spotted. For example the Terminator endoskeleton, having the incorrect amount of vertebrae.

You know why this was such an idiotic decision?
1. You lost sales from the people that loved the SDCC portrait but hate this one.
2. You could have boosted your EX sales if the ugly portrait was part of the EX as it would have pushed the customers who like it (only 33% according to the poll) to PO the EX.
3. Both portraits were already done, so it took them no additional effort to just include both in the EX.
4. It might have given some people a little sense of getting actually getting your money's worth. Because right now, I'm wondering how the hell is this only $5 cheaper than the massively superior X-23, i.e. two portraits and the EX arm vs. just the EX arm.
