This time it's Rocket's NYCC art haul!!!

Hey everyone, while many of you guys were able to check out what I got at the con itself, I have just returned from an amazing whirlwind tour of the US and wanted to share what I got in the way of art and statues at the con! Want to also take the opportunity to thank everyone Steph and I met during the trip, every single one of you were so fantastic and friendly and now you all owe us a visit down under! Special thanks to Avenger, and Jesse321 for not just being great mates, but putting us up with a roof over our heads and COUNTLESS gifts during our stay. You guys are nothing short of angels.

I also have ten to fifteen pieces still under construction from the con that I will add as they come in
Ok without further ado!

One of the first guys whose list I jumped on was Scott Hanna. I told him I'm a huge X fan and asked which mutants took his fancy. As he named a few he kind of lingered around Phoenix while mentioning her. This was all the prompting I needed and I'm so happy with the finished product!

The weekend before NYCC was Big Apple Con and my great mate Alex was able to pickup a Mc Kone piece for me there, I had a gut feeling he'd do a nice Black Widow

And at NYCC proper, I got him to do a Hawkeye

A guy who has been prolific right here on SF was at the con also, Rahsan Ekedal and I really wanted to get his take on a cosmic favorite of mine, Drax the Destroyer

Steph and I were also extremely lucky to be given pieces of Ekedal art from our mate Jose!

Havok for me

And Ghost Rider for Steph

I had always said if I ever got the chance to get a Billy Tan piece, it would be Emma Frost, and managed to get that one done

Also picked up some OA pages. Was talking with Drew at the con and we seem to have the same "rules" when buying OA. It is as much about the story content or historical importance of the page as it is the art. These three pages all fell under that banner for me, especially the Thor page, which was the moment Loki as a child became the character we all know.
