Just when I think I am out! You pull me back in! I think I will try to contact some of the artists on the list before the convention... I would love to get an Amy Mebberson watercolor... or copic marker

I've thought about going to Emeraldcon the past couple of years but I'm still on the fence. Sure, all the actors would be neat to see, but I'm not particularly interested in lining up to go sit in a panel or taking photos with the celebs or getting autographs. I would be more interested in buying stuff, like statues and comics. Would it still be recommended to go if I don't have much interest in the celebs? Artists for sure, I'd be interested in any of their prints that they have there for sale.

Or I could just wait for the Vancouver Fan Expo which happens a month later...

If Scott and David show up, I might drive up.

.. or fly up, I guess.. I love the drive, though; regardless of the miles it puts on my baby.

I found ECCC to be awesome for comic fans, whereas so many cons are more geared towards the entertainment aspect. As a hardcore comic/art nerd, I thought ECCC was perfect....highly recommend it!

asher and i discussed changing our "big-con" for 2013 from Heroes to ECCC. this lineup looks wicked. honestly, depends on whether some comicarthouse guys show up to this, as they will most definitely be in charlotte. also, maybe a possibility theyll be here in phoenix in january.

My husband says there's currently 6 artists from comicarthouse home page that will be attending. It's really a great show. There will be more guests announced right up until the show.

Hmmm, you're not a convention expert like my husband. I'll see if he can put a list together for you.
