The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

I just chatted with Ardian today and everything's cool with us and I hope to have more published work available for sale soon
No probs mate

Would have been nice of him to actually let you know and give some clarity to those of us waiting patiently for what now amounts to years, that this was the case. Now it appears we find ourselves at the back of the line with nothing to show for it. Not your fault if course mate but extremely disappointing nonetheless. What a very poor way to treat his fans.

A DPS Ardian did for me a while back.

This was not set up through Royd as at that time I did not know he had a rep. Sorry Royd if I crossed a line. But he offered direct and I hope it's cool with you.

Hey J-M-T,

No line was crossed as far as I'm concerned, I'm just there to help the artist/client/friend

However, I think Ardian forgot that there was an existing list of people interested in commissions. At the time he had a monthly book and wasn't able to take on commission requests.

Fast forward 12-18 months or so and it looks like Ardian had/has some free time and a few people went direct to him and obtained commissions. (I did check in with Ardian from time to time but he said he was too busy to accept new commissions at those times).

Going direct is fine with me but would have frustrated those who thought there was a queue. (I did have a list but it seemed that Ardian was busy for so long, I must admit that I would have had trouble locating the list again).

That said, no money was asked up front for those who were in the queue so no-one was out of pocket. I know it's frustrating to possibly miss out but no-one was out of pocket

As regards the sale of published pages, Ardian has kindly agreed to send me more pages from previous books and I hope to have pages available for sale soon! Best,

Royd

Edit: Just wanted to add that those are awesome commissions of the Justice League and Batman/Nightwing/Robin - congrats

Thanks, carlito1978 & Royd.

This one's offerred on his fb, not a commission. I have a commission that's in his waiting list too (my first to him, actually) that I ordered directly a few months back because although I bought one of Ardian's pages from Royd before, I didn't know he's a rep for Ardian until I read bout it here. The other Ardian's pages in my collection I bought from a fellow collector.
