I can't decide what is more exciting, the actual show, or the inevitable adult meltdowns once more gets revealed.

well I guess that mean the Jim Lee outfits will be back front and center. Hopefully though the character assassination that Marvel did with The Beast might get reversed since in the cartoon the Beast will still be portrayed as he was in the 90's. (To me, Marvel seems to adapt the characters to how they are portrayed in TV or movies to fit into that role more so than DC)
So maybe with the Beast being portrayed as a hero/scientist in the cartoon will translate into the comics instead of some non heroic, misguided, manipulative scientist that he is currently being written as.

Goosebumps over here.
Just hoping the animation is not a disappointment. And that we stick to comic material since the movies did such a piss poor job of doing so.

People seem to already sitting their hopes too high.
I LOVED watching the original but it never was some bastion of animation or source faithful storytelling...

I think they did their very best to stay faithful to the storylines, they didnt throw them out the window entirely like most shows would do, they just had to make some modifications to have certain characters in storylines that they originally werent in, while some characters that should have been in some stories were not, things like that due to the ensemble cast of X-men on the show, like having Gambit in the Dark Phoenix saga for example, but overall even with the character differences their retelling of the Dark Phoenix Saga overall was faithful to the source material, and same with many other stories its obvious they respected the source material, more than probably any other comic book cartoon i've ever seen
