Amen. A 1/4 Martian Manhunter, Ra's al Ghul, or Deadshot are characters I'm all in on, but I don't see Sideshow releasing any of them. The custom route looks like the only way I'll see those characters. Might as well add in a 1/4 Perez Deathstroke as well if Tweeter doesn't come through. At this point, I'm more than willing to go the custom route on the final few characters I still need for my collection.

I have to agree. This is the reason why I have ventured out to custom work as well. I am so happy with my Kitty Pryde, Yelena Bulova and am looking so forward to getting my Nightwing and am also very excited about my Red Bird, Tim Drake Robin. It can be frustrating and of course you have to pay more and wait forever and a day at times but in the end, at least you can get the characters you are wanting/needing to complete set ups or teams or what have you.

I would LOVE to get a Ra's Al Ghul or even more so,.........a Talia!!!!

That's up for debate. If the license companies sell all of their product, then a non license should be of no concern to them, as it would imply both worlds can co_exist.

They would argue that most collectors do not have unlimited funds. Any purchase of a custom piece replaces the purchase of a licensed piece.

I hear it from Statue companies all the time. Licenses are expensive, and approvals are time consuming. They're playing by the rules, and losing sales to custom producers that don't.
