It was fun to see it on the big screen again, but yeah, Jar Jar isn't great, and all the dialogue is pretty clunky. I wish Lucas had enlisted Lawrence Kasdan to write the script.

Trailer Park of Terror (2008)
3/10
Credit where credit is due, the DVD cover art really helps sell the movie.
I liked the lead actress Nichole Hiltz who plays Norma. Some of the trailer park people were decent enough.
Over all the movie amounts to a mish-mash of ideas that add up to not much. While most
of the gory special effects look decent enough, the movie never crosses over into the scary
or the believable, unlike The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) for example.
Was it supposed to? maybe not? as it based on a comic book (apparently).
I liked the opening scenes. From there on it, the story jumps about, and goes down hill rapidly.
There is a scene where two people go at it in bed, getting 'half dressed' and that in itself sums up Trailer Park of Terror.
The movie never wants to go all the way, just half the way. Scary, but not really scary. Gory, but not too real. Sexy, but no nudity.
Imagine The Devil's Rejects (2005) turned down by 50%
I did wonder if Trailer Park of Terror was one of those movies made by a bunch of people fresh out of film school,
who managed to find some backers for their project. Meaning the results could propel some to better things,
while some would end up falling by the wayside?

EDIT: I decided to take a look on IMDb to see who directed Trailer Park of Terror?
Director - Steven Goldmann
It appears Steven Goldmann mainly has experience in directing music videos. That might explain a lot.

Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes - 7/10 starts my Summer of sequels - Deadpool, Quiet Place, Mad Max, Bad Boys and Twisters. Which will reign as my favorite?

I bought this movie when it 1st came to DVD. I like it. The underground, Southern Rock guitar played by the zombie rocker really works throughout the movie as does Trace Adkins as the devil. There's some really fun cringe moments sprinkled around too. Fun in October.
