Nice tip.. it's only $15 on there right now.

(Obviously that doesnt' include shipping, but it's still cheaper than the cover price...)

Thanks!

S'my opinion, anyways.
I just don't have time to read a 1000 page book. I can load an audio book to my blackberry and listen while I do housework, or before bed or in the car on the way home from work.
I listened to the whole Dark Tower series this way.
The right reader really makes it.
THe guy on UNder the Dome is really good. George Guidall is great, but Frank Mueller was the absolute best. Or King himself of course.

Just finished this one yesterday. A massive read and I really enjoyed it but I was a bit let down by the ending.

Ahh, the famous Stephen King Ending. 1000 pages of story and character developement and 0 pages of closure.
What really bothered me was the last 1/4 of Dark Tower 7. THe most rushed finale of anything.

Not to derail the thread but I was extremely pissed at the end of the Dark Tower series. All the time put into the books and NO ENDING!!!! WTF! Just from that alone, it will be awhile before I pick up another King book.

King's endings require you to use your imagination. It bothers a lot of folks that he leaves many endings wide-open, but I like the fact that they leave you wondering. It also leaves them open for sequels. I'd love to read a modern-day version of It.

Gah.. I gotta pick this up again, didn't finish it.

I hate having numerous engaging books in front of me at once.. hard to just tote the same one around.

I'll start in on this again today; the current non-fiction I'm reading is very daunting and heartfelt, and King's "Dome", surprisingly, will be much lighter in comparison.
