The same things over and over again?
You can tell by the pictures. Other than the Vincent Price doll, I don't repeat them unless it is a special case where I need to repaint something differently.
I like expressions so I don't mind doing different faces for one actor as a challenge--since most sculptors do not do portrait expressions. It is very hard to do well. Smiles etc.
Although it does get boring--I have two leftover Christopher Lee heads to mold and cast but I don't know when I will get to them.
If you mean do I do anything modern, I don't find current celebrities that interesting to do and/or there are so many portraits of them already, there's little point in me doing one.
I was asked to do Alan Rickman but declined since there are accurate portraits of him. I'd rather do people that either have no portraits or I feel I can do something new with it.
Right now I am finishing a current actress (who AFAIK has not had a portrait done) but that's an experiment for resemblance accuracy.
Yes I do get tired of doing 60s-70s all the time.
Male celebrities sell better for me so I don't have much incentive to do the women although they offer more of a challenge.
