The Pacific and Band of Brothers.
Both series are some of the best television I’ve ever watched.

Both are brilliant, especially Band Of Brothers. The third one, Masters Of The Air, is also worth a look.

A Gentleman in Moscow - 9/10
A touching story through the period of massive upheaval in Russia through the eyes of Alexander Rostov (Ewan McGregor) finding hope where one can in a harsh world.
Excellent adaptation of the book and the performances breathed so much life into the characters and their struggles.

Shogun 7.5/10
Despite the Emmys, despite ticking alot of boxes I like about a series (slow-burner, Orient setting, decent cast...) I felt underwhelmed by it.
Also didn?t help that, despite being absolutely stunningly beautiful, ever since the "Monarch: Legacy of Monsters" , there is something about Anna Sawai?s acting that doesn?t sit quite well with me. Can?t really pinpoint what it is...

Silo season 1 7/10
Interesting murder mystery in a unique post-apocalyptic setting. Season 2 starts in November.

Was it that stuff wasn?t clearly explained and could easily be confused? Sometimes I felt lost on who was with which party?my husband read the books so he helped me.
Even with the chaos still a 10/10 for me. I especially enjoyed Anna Sawai?s acting. And the cinematography was stunning.

I agree that the cinematography was fabulous, and I did get everything pretty well storywise. Some great ( and also not so great) acting but I guess it wasn?t for me for some reason...
