Being stupid can be deadly. Poor judgement all-around.

Go outside with a sword? Sure, why not.
Lunge at the cops? It'll be fun.
Look! A black man with a sword running away? I'm sure I can justifiably shoot him at this distance without endangering anyone else. Let me try.
My son did nothing wrong, but he's dead because of racism.

That is if we were to believe the Police, there are numerous examples that the Police were found to be lying.

The officials stated that he "lunged" at them with the sword, but the autopsy says that none of the shots were in his front. Not to mention he wasn't shot once or twice but six times. No matter how you look at it it's suspicious.

There is also the fact tha the Police who shot the guy were on paid administrative leave.

In other words, we can't know the truth for sure unless there is some cam footage or an eye witness.

That is suspicious as I would not expect your average Police shooter to be able to hit a person-sized moving target with a pistol so consistently.

I really do not mean to make light of this tragedy as an innocent young man did lose his life for no good reason. A tragedy that seems to have been preventable, if only different actions had been taken by both the victim and the police.

Mugen? He's one of, if not my favourite, anime character.

I love this statue.

It's a shame the company went bust afterwards. They had a Jin planned.

Now I really am upset. That looks like it would have been killer... no pun intended.

This is bad reporting. I am suspicious about the "lunged forward" at the cops and then six shots in the back. I wonder if the crime scene had the sword out or still in the hilt.

I have a feeling the sword came out as it seems to have been in a very public place with witnesses . . . stupid thing to do.

Metroid, they weren't on paid administrative leave at the time of the shooting. They are now due to the investigation.

I can never really wrap my head around stories like this, first off I find it hard to believe that any police officer no matter what a scumbag they may in fact be just wakes up and decides they want to shoot a person in the back 6 times for no reason, but I find it equally unlikely that an otherwise normal person just decides they are going to mess with the cops one day and pretend to attack them with their samurai sword
