Looks like this movie is doing pretty well. It wasn't my favorite but I like that it's making money. If Disney has an ounce of common business sense left they will ditch their ideas and go with what works from now on. The only thing is, have they dug themselves into a hole that's too big to get out of?

I saw it twice this weekend. Once on Friday night on the normal screen, and once last night in 3D. I will fully admit I didn't laugh as much last night as I did the first night, but I still thoroughly enjoyed it and am happy it's making money.

One would think this would show Disney what makes money (and what doesn't), but this one movie does not resurrect my faith in them to get back on track.

What does Deadpool and Wolverine's success mean for the MCU?

It hasn't even had its second weekend in cinemas yet and Marvel's superhero
team-up has already made $591m (?464m) worldwide. That's already more
than the total grosses managed by 10 of the previous MCU adventures,
including its immediate predecessor The Marvels. Only a fool would bet
against it passing the billion-dollar milestone, joining Joker as the only R-rated
films to achieve that.


They have to make a Deadpool 4 movie. They have to!
